PERMISSIONS OOC backtagging yes! threadhopping case-by-case basis fourthwalling not my favourite thing unless it's a necessary part of characterisation (ie. deadpool) offensive subjects i don't have any triggering subjects that i'd prefer to avoid, however i would prefer that anything that is potentially offensive or triggering for others (eg. sexual assault, suicide, mental health etc) be given appropriate content warnings and be dealt with as respectfully as possible, however i am fully aware that in-character views/actions are obviously not a reflection of ooc views! also — moon knight, ya feel? timezone / tagging speed gmt + medium — i vary between being v slow and able to get to tags a couple of times a day, but i try to hit my inbox back at least once a day. IC physical contact physical affection will depend on who and the circumstances, general physical contact is a go for it but the reaction will depend on the circumstances because, y'know, marc isn't a totally unreasonable human being. mind reading canonically, this does not turn out well for a lot of characters that try it. marc's mind is an absolute fucking mess due to the egyptian moon god thing and he's well aware of it — anyone that tries to weaponise mind reading against him will be invited to do so and to ... not enjoy the results. romance marc likes to think of himself as a loner and pushes a lot of people away and tends to be quite difficult to get along with, which means romance in and of itself requires a lot of work. depending on canon point/mental state, it's going to range from a hard no through to a yeah, maybe. shipping yes — marlene, frenchie, tigra, gena (jake); maybe — frank, natasha; no — reese, bushman, badr, jeff fighting fuck yeah injuries or death injuries — absolutely yes. marc is not a graceful fighter and he tends to end a lot fights very bruised, bloody and in need of varying degrees of medical attention. death — also yes, but with plotting and communication. canon point preference for ellis/shalvey run or mackay/cappuccio run — in terms of characterisation, i take strong influence from moench, huston, ellis, lemire and mackay, with an intense dislike for bemis and bendis. OPT-OUT moon knight comes with a boat load of content warnings, primarily related to mental health + illness (in particular DID, however the very fictional moon god aspect of canon is said to be the reason for marc's DID presenting atypically), violence, death and religion, so i have a screened opt-out post located here.

topics — heavy violence, murder, death, religion and anti-semitism (whilst his jewish identity is important to him and his background, marc has been quite conflicted about it at several points throughout his life, and he's been the recipient of anti-semitism, particularly as child), mental illness + dissociative identity disorder are all topics that have the potential to come up in threads with marc, so if there is anything specific that you would like to opt out of, or if you would prefer to opt out of interacting with marc altogether, please leave a comment below! i totally understand it's a difficult canon. in terms of other optional opt-outs, marc's alters take the form of millionaire steven grant, new york cabbie jake lockley, mr. knight as a 'concerned citizen' vs. the very violent moon knight himself. if there is a specific alter you would prefer not to interact with, or a specific alter you would prefer to only interact with, again, feel free to specify! marc may interact with these other alters and/or the egyptian god khonshu, and this can take the form of him appearing to talk to himself. again, i aim to be mindful of other player's comfort levels, so will check-in with you in advance unless an opt-in/out is explicitly expressed in advance! screening is enabled.
